Now you can send and receive money using Gmail app for Android. You can already send money to people via Google wallet though Gmail on your computer.Now Google rolled out same feature for Gmail app but only for Android.(iOS users have to wait for it). Here I am wrting about how to send and receive and request money in your gmail app on android.

You tap the attach button like you typically would to send along a photograph, video, or document, and now you’ll see an alternative to attach some money. Beneficiaries needn’t bother with a Gmail email deliver for it to work, and they can have cash exchanged straightforwardly to their bank account once it’s been gotten.

Sending payments through Gmail is completely free on both sides,but unfortunately, sending money through Gmail on Android is litimted only US.Non US Gmail users have to wait for this feature.Anyway,here i am giving you idea about how to send,receive and request money through your Gmail account on your Android phone.

How to send money with Gmail

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. In the bottom right corner of the screen, tap Compose.
  3. In the top right, tap Attachand then Send money.
  4. Enter the amount you want to send and choose a payment method.
  5. Tap Continue.
  6. Add a memo (optional).
  7. Tap Attach money.
  8. To send the email, tap Send.

How to receive an email with money attached

The first time you receive money through Gmail, you’ll need to add a debit card to transfer the money to. Whenever someone sends you money through Gmail, it will automatically transfer to that card.

To claim money sent to you through Gmail the first time:

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. Open the message with attached money.
  3. Tap Transfer to bank and then Add debit card.
  4. Enter your card details.
  5. Tap Claim money.

How to request money from someone by email

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. In the bottom left, tap Compose.
  3. In the top right, tap Attachand thenRequest money.
  4. Enter the amount you want to request.
  5. Tap Continue.
  6. Add a memo (optional).
  7. Tap Attach request.
  8. To send the email, tap Send.
