Grindr is the world’s largest social networking app for gay, bi, trans, and queer people. If you are gay and looking for a gay partner, then Grindr is for you. You can find a gay partner for yourself on Grindr. To use Grindr you have to download and install Grindr on your device. Grindr is available on both Android and iOS. To access all Grindr features you have to create a Grindr account and do log in to your Grindr account. Once you start using the Grindr app you will notice that you are getting notifications from Grindr. If you are not familiar with app notifications and looking to snooze the Grindr app don’t be a worry. Here I am writing about how to activate do not disturb on Grindr. In the DND option of Grinder, you can snooze app notifications.

This feature is found in Settings and permits you to set repeating Quiet Hours or temporarily Snooze Grindr warnings when you need a break or don’t have any desire to communicate your action to people around you.

How To Activate Do Not Disturb On Grindr (Android)

  1. Launch the Grindr app on your device.
  2. Tap the profile icon which is located at the top left corner.
  3. Tap Settings which is located at the bottom.
  4. On the settings page, you will find the ‘notifications’ option.
  5. NOTIFICATIONS>Do Not Disturb
  6. Tap on Snooze Notifications.
  7. You can snooze notifications for 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours, or until you turn off snooze.
  8. Or you can quiet for hours.
  9. Just tap the quiet hour’s option and set a time for which you don’t want to receive a pop-up notification from Grindr. You can repeat this setting every day or on weekdays only.

Thus you can activate do not disturb on Grindr. You also get an option on notification settings but it is different from the DND option. In the notification, you can manage all other app notifications. DND of the Grindr app is only available for Android and still not for iOS.
