1. Open and log into the Grindr app on your mobile phone.
2. Tap the profile that you want to block.
3. Tap on the block icon and select ‘Block User’.
4. Grindr will ask you are you sure you want to block this user? 
5. Click on ‘Yes’. That’s it you blocked that person now on Grindr.

You can block users via the chat section too. Open the app and go to the chat and open chat of that person which you want to block. Click three vertical dots which are located at the upper right-hand side. You will see the ‘block user’ option there.  Simply click on it and tap on ‘yes’ and the selected users will get blocked. Thus you can block someone on Grindr.

How to unblock someone on Grindr

You can unblock users which are you blocked on Grindr. In case, you changed your mind and you need to unblock users which you are blocked then follow the below-mentioned steps.

1. Open the app on your mobile phone.
2. Tap on your profile icon which is located on the upper left-hand side.
3. Click on ‘Settings’.
4. Scroll down the page and you will get the ‘Unblock Users’ option below the PIN option.
5. Tap on ‘Unblock Users’.
6. Select and hold the username which you want to unblock
7. You will get a pop-up message for confirmation that you really want to unblock that user.
8. Tap on “UNBLOCK’. You will get a message of unblock successful.

Thus you can unblock users that you are blocked on Grindr.

How to report someone on Grindr

You can report Grindr users if the user doing spam or doing something illegal. Just follow the below steps to report someone on Grindr.

1. Open the app on your mobile phone.
2. Tap the profile that you want to report.
3. Tap on the block icon and select ‘Report User’.
4. Grindr will ask you ‘Why are you reporting this user?’
5. Select the correct reason and tell Grindr what happened to you.
6. Write your report and continue. 
7. Select the ‘Where did the offense occur?’ and continue.
8. Review your report and finally click on the ‘Submit’ button.
9. Your report will get submitted. You will get a thank you for a message from the app.
10. Now, wait until Grindr action, if the user you reported has violated Grinder term or guidelines, appropriate action will be taken.
