Samsung’s official event at Mobile World Congress, Galaxy Unpacked 2015, will be all about the latest flagship from Samsung, the Galaxy S6, and the invites for the press meet are already out. But the teaser image released by Samsung along with the invites is a really interesting one. It looks like the corner of a device with a curved design, and with rumors of Samsung trying out a new design this year, the teaser image might be of Galaxy S6 itself!

The reason that we aren’t sure the image is indeed showing a Galaxy S6 is because of a recent report by SamMobile and Samsung’s launch of an “Edge” version of their last flagship. While the report from SamMobile suggested that Samsung is trying out multiple designs for Galaxy S6, the launch of Galaxy Note Edge with Note 4 last year points at a possible launch of a second generation Note Edge or a new Galaxy S Edge!

As soon as the teaser image came out, German website All About Samsung posted an image which compared the curve shown in the teaser with the top corner on Galaxy Note Edge and this further fueled rumors and speculations of Galaxy S6 coming with a curved design.

While Samsung has recently patented a dual edge curved design, it remains unclear if Samsung will indeed use the design this year or if they are testing the deign for a future launch. With Samsung’s habit of trying different things in mobile market, anything is possible as far as the launch is concerned. Whether they would take the risk of launching a flagship with completely new design or they would play it safe with the tried and tested method of launching multiple variants remains to be seen.
