Instagram just launched brand new IGTV app for video creators where creators can record and upload longer video (up to 60 minutes) on Instagram. You can access IGTV by downloading IGTV stand-alone app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store or you can use IGTV on the Instagram web. Here I am writing about how to to use Instagram IGTV on web and upload longer videos on Instagram.

How to use Instagram IGTV on web
The best thing about you can use IGTV is you can use it from the web version of Instagram. It means you can access IGTV from your computer or laptop and upload longer videos on Instagram.
- Go to Instagram.com on your computer.
- Log in to your Instagram account on PC.
- Go to your Instagram profile page.
- Here you can see IGTV option click on it.
- You will see a message “Start Sharing to IGTV” and click on “Get Started”.
- Now you will see an option of “Create Your Channel” option, here click on “Next”.
- Here you can see “Share Longer Videos” message here also click on “Next”.
- Now “Built for Vertical” option will come, here click on “Create Channel”
- That’s it, your IGTV channel is created now and ready to upload your first IGTV video.
How to upload a video on IGTV channel
Once your IGTV channel gets created you can upload video to IGTV. Just click on “Upload” button which is under your IGTV channel section. Then set the cover photo for your IGTV video it will be vertical and JPG file. In details, section gives a title to your video and write a video description in the description section. You can also share IGTV video on the Facebook fan page. If you have already recorded video you can drag and drop a video file to upload your IGTV channel. Lastly, click on “Post” and your video will be live to watch your Instagram followers. In case you want to post video later you can save it as a draft. Thus you can upload video to your IGTV channel.
You can upload 60-minutes longer video on IGTV, but keep in mind that video should be vertical because IGTV is mobile friendly and it is compulsory.
