Google India Children’s Day special Doodle: Today is 14th November and India celebrating children’s day on the occasion of birthday of most popular and children’s favourite Cha-cha Nehru. For children’s day celebration Google India take contest of Doodle4Google per year. This year also they took contest of Doodle4Google and this year theme was ‘Sky’s The Limit for Indian Women’.Google holds the doodle contest for school kids in India every year on a particular theme and features the winning entry on its homepage on Children’s Day. For this year, the theme was ‘celebrating the Indian women’, and Google received more than 1.5 lakh entries this year. Finally Gayatri Ketharaman,10th class girl, from Pune won Doodle4Google contest for 2013.

In today’s Google doodle, start with dancing woman arched which represent G. Which represents delicacy and prettiness, grace side of Indian women. Two O’s replaced by one rupee coin and symbol of home which show that how Indian women do work and take care of home as well. At place of G, there are earth and moon which indicate that Indian women career growing rapidly. In place of L there is women which holding the child which indicate caring nature of Indian women. Lastly on E there is police cap which show the bravery of Indian women.

 About Children’s Day and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru:

All over India 14 Th November celebrated as children’s day. Its birthday of country’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He was born on 14th November 1889 in Allahabad, which is located in Utter Pradesh northern India. Jawaharlal Nehru had strong politics background in Indian history, because Motilal Nehru father of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the important leader of Indian National Congress. Due to this Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was grown up in high political climate, that’s why Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was great leader. He completed his Natural science graduation in 1907-1910 from Trinity College, Cambridge. After finishing his graduation in 1910, Nehru went to London and stayed there for two years for law studies at the Inns of Court School of Law. After returning to India in August 1912, Nehru started himself as an advocate of the Allahabad High Court and tried to settle down as a barrister. but unlike his father Jawaharlal Nehru was interested in politics. So finally 1912 officially he started his work for Indian national Congress and for India. Pandit Jawaharlal neharu was lot inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s life and he did play great ideal role in Indian freedom fighter war.After freedom of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was became first Prime Minister of India. More than 17 years(15-Augst 1947-27 May 1964)he was Prime minister of India.
He worked with passion for the welfare of children and youngsters soon after independence. He was particular about education, welfare, and development of children in India. He was famous in children and thus became popular as Chacha Nehru (Uncle Nehru). Nehru was very particular about the progress and success of the Indian youth. He wanted to develope responsible Indian citizen out of young boys and girls. Under his government he established several educational institutions including, IIT’S, All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Indian Institutes of Management. He started plan of free and compulsory primary education for each and every child in India. So lot of schools were built throughout the villages of India when Nehru was Prime Minister. He also started the scheme to provide free milks and meals to school children in India to prevent malnutrition.

Children’s Day celebration is the tribute to childhood , and it also tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Because ‘Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.’
