Freedom 251 ADCOM

Advantage Computers (ADCOM) has told that,the devices shown by Ringing Bells at the launch of the Freedom 251  smartphone were sold by it for Rs 3,600 each. ADCOM is the prototype maker of Freedom 251 phone. Now ADCOM founder  Sanjeev Bhatia saying that  ADCOM sold handset for Rs 3, 600 to Ringing Bells. ADCOM still didn’t know about Ringing Bells resale plans of Freedom 251 smartphone. He also cleared that ADCOM is not connected with ringing Bells,and ADCOM sold the devices to ringing Bells as it does like to other consumers.Freedom 251 ADCOM

Now ADCOM is in planning to take  legal action against Noida-based Ringing Bells. Founder and MD of ADCOM, Sanjeev Bhatia said in a press conference“We still haven’t been able to evaluate their pricing policy, as we sold the handsets at Rs. 3, 600 per unit. We are deeply grieved by this incident where our mobile phone has been presented to masses for Rs. 251, and therefore, would not hesitate from taking any legal actions against the company, in case the entire fiasco impacts ADCOM’s brand name or subsequently we face any other kind of losses. We would also like to assert that ADCOM is in no way connected or linked with Ringing Bells or Freedom 251 and bears no responsibility what so ever, in the whole swindle and regret the inconvenience caused to our valued customers from all over the country.”

Regarding legal action against ringing Bells, he also added “We would not hesitate from taking any legal actions against the company, in case the entire fiasco impacts ADCOM’s brand name or subsequently we face any other kind of losses. We would also like to assert that ADCOM is in no way connected or linked with Ringing Bells or Freedom 251 and bears no responsibility whatsoever, in the whole swindle and regret the inconvenience caused to our valued customers from all over the country.”

Ringing Bells denied charges and Mohit Goel, managing director of Ringing Bells told that,the devices obtained from ADCOM were not sold in the market and were just showed to the media at the launch event. He also told that Ringing Bells already started to refund Freedom 251 payments of 30,000 customers

It seems like contravency around Freedom 251 not dying down while increasing day by day. Recently,call center service provider Cyfuture also files cheating complaint against Ringing Bells. The government is also monitoring the Ringing Bells closely. Ravi Shankar Prasad telecom minister,had said an action will be taken against Ringing Bells,if company fails to deliver the Freedom 251 smartphone. So lets wait and watch Ringing Bells will manage to make the promised cash on delivery shipments till June.
