How To Change Your Verification Phone Number On POF

POF suggests users as per your interest, profile, and chemistry test done by you on POF. POF is a widely used dating website so it’s necessary to keep safe your POF account. Here I am writing about how to change your verification phone number on POF.

To keep your POF profile safe and your online life safe POF uses two-factor authentication (2FA). This means that every time your account is accessed on a new device, you’ll need to self-generate an SMS text message to your phone, confirming it’s you logging in. For 2FA POF use your phone number. In case, you changed your phone number then you have to wait until the next time you’re asked to verify your account to get it updated by POF.

POF uses your phone number for security purposes only. You will never receive any phone calls or additional text messages from Plenty of Fish. It is important that you own your phone number to verify on POF. If you changed your mobile number don’t be worry here I  am writing about how to change your verification phone number on POF. 

How To Change Your Verification Phone Number On POF

  1. Launch the POF app on your mobile phone.
  2. Tap on three vertical lines that are located on the upper right-hand side.
  3. Now, tap on  ‘Settings,
  4. Tap on ‘Manage Phone Number’.
  5. Enter your old phone inbox and Tap on ‘Next’
  6. Once the old phone number gets verified, enter a new phone number.
  7. Tap on ‘next‘.
  8. You will get a 6-digit code via SMS.
  9. Enter the 6-digit code.
  10. That’s it. Your new number gets verified and it all set for 2FA of POF.

Thus you can change your verification phone number on POF. If you didn’t receive the 6-digit code by SMS, wait for the resend SMS timer to expire and try to resend the code. Never try to guess the code, or you will be locked out for a period of time.
