Finally, Plenty of Fish is beginning to roll out LIVE!, a free live streaming feature, to POF app-users in the United States. COVID-19 epidemic forces people around the world to follow social distancing and isolation, and it is critical to maintaining human connection. When face-to-face interaction is temporarily limited so POF introduced ‘LIVE’, a free live streaming feature within the Plenty of Fish dating app. Here we are all talking about how to live stream on Plenty of Fish.
The rollout started from 19 March 2020, with U.S. Plenty of Fish app-users in the areas most impacted by Coronavirus, including New York, Washington, and California. Next week, Plenty of Fish will roll out to more than 80% of the U.S. and will make it available to all global app-users by the end of April. You can Livestream with friends, meet new people, play the dating game NextDate™, and most importantly, lean on each other during these uncertain times.

How to live stream on Plenty of Fish
- Update POF app for both iOS and Android
- Then launch the POF app on your mobile phone.
- Tap the “LIVE!” icon on the Plenty of Fish dashboard in the app.
- Once you’re on the LIVE! home page, tap “GO LIVE!” to start streaming.
- Just be yourself and follow POF Content and Conduct Policy and you can start building a new online community!
How to see who is viewing your Stream?
- While you’re streaming, you can tap the eye icon to see a list of everyone who is viewing your stream.
- You can say “Hi” to anyone on the list or add them to your Favorites.
- You’ll also be able to see how many hearts each person has sent while watching the stream.
Getting hearts from other users means they really enjoy your stream!
How to favorite someone in LIVE?
- Tapping the star icon while viewing the stream or tapping “Favorite” on the Streamers’ profile.
- You will get notification whenever your favorite streamer starts streaming again.
- Whenever your Favorites are online streaming, you’ll see them under your “Favorites” tab.
How to remove someone from your favorite list
- To remove someone from your Favorites, go to the Favorites tab in the “You!” section.
- You’ll see a list of all your Favorites there, and can either swipe to remove (iOS) or tap and hold to remove (Android).
Note: Adding someone to your LIVE! Favorites list is not the same as adding someone to your Dating Favorites and the two are not synced.
Update: POF updated app. In the new updated POF app scroll down the “explore tab” and you’ll find what Plenty of Fish members are currently live streaming on Plenty of Fish Live!
