facebook datingFacebook will add another feature to its social network for individuals to date with non-friends. This Facebook dating feature will give people a chance to make a dating profile on the platform. The user will have the capacity to find different users interests through their profile simply like in some other dating application or services.

The Facebook dating feature was reported by Facebook at the F8 conference.

Facebook clarifies that “potential matches will be suggested in light of dating preferences, things in common, and mutual friends. They’ll have the choice to find others with similar interests through their Groups or Events.”

How To Use Facebook Dating Feature For Meeting Non-Friends

  1. First, you have to opt for the Facebook dating service with your name, it won’t be visible to your friends or anyone else who does not have a dating profile on Facebook. It also won’t be posted on your timeline or news feed.
  2. You will be able to browse events in the city and groups which matches your interests. These interests can be unlocked. And after then, you’ll be able to see the profiles of the users who also unlocked that event.
  3. Now, you can browse through the profiles of people who have created a dating profile by sharing a few photos and basic information about them. You’ll also get suggestions based on mutual interests and friends.
  4. If both of the people with mutual interests are interested in conversation. You will be able to chat with each other in a special chat box. And only text message can be sent for now.

Despite everything, we need to check whether Facebook can make a blockade between the social network and the dating some portion of the site. Right now, we don’t know whether Facebook will make a different application for this feature or dating will be integrated with the current application. Hope Facebook will roll out this feature soon.
