Just by sitting at home you can check the history of your Aadhaar card uses. It means you can verify where your Aadhaar has been used in last six months. In case you found any misuse of your Aadhar card you can lodge the complaint against it. To check your Aadhaar history you must have registered and verified your mobile number with the website of UIDAI.

How to check where your Aadhaar card has been used in the last six months?

  1. First, you have to visit the UIDAI website and go to the Aadhaar authentication history page https://resident.uidai.gov.in/notification-aadhaar.
  2.  Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number, just below ‘Aadhaar Authentication History’; and type in the security code as seen in the picture.
  3.  Now Click on the link ‘Generate OTP’. You will get an OTP on the registered mobile number. Remember that in order to receive the OTP, your mobile number should have been verified with the UIDAI website.
  4. The page that will open will request the accompanying data: Authentication Type; Select Date Range; Number of Records; and OTP.
  5. Now select ‘All’ as the option in the drop-down menu of the page that opens.
  6. The ‘Authentication Type’ is a drop-down that will have options including Demographic, Biometric, All, Demographic & Biometric, Demographic & OTP and Biometric & OTP.
  7. Select the option ‘All’ here.
  8. In the ‘Select Date Range’, choose the option given on the page.
  9. Click on ‘Submit’ after selecting the number of months, you can select maximum up to six months.
  10.  Now fill in the ‘Number of Records’, you can request for maximum up to 50 records.
  11. After this enter the OTP for authentication and click on submit.
  12. All the places your Aadhaar has been used will show up. In case you find any misuse of your Aadhaar information, you can complain about the same to UIDAI by calling on 1945.
