Facebook has introduced new app called Riff, by using this app users can create collaborative videos with their friends. The Facebook Riff app is now available for both Android and iOS users.
Josh Miller, Product Manager of Facebook says that, “Recently, a few Facebook employees stayed after-hours to work on a side project. Our hunch was that if you could make videos collaboratively, the creative process would be more fun and the final product would be cooler. Today, we are introducing Riff, a creative tool to make videos with friends.”

Anyone can start by creating video and share it on Riff. While you have to suggest topic like #AprilFools for create video up to 20 seconds. A user’s Facebook friend can then view the clip, and can also add in their 20-second video.If the project gets too large, users can easily skip videos with a fast-forward button.

The app is currently available in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese,Italian, Thai, Vietnamese, Polish and Japanese. If you are going to use Riff then you have to follow some rule to use app. You can shot video only within app and can’t import from phone gallery. The video creator also has the rights to remove added clips from the chain. While posting clips user gets only a 3-2-1 countdown and can approve their clips. There is no multi-shot recording or editing features which are seen on other apps. Riff, a Facebook Creative Labs app, is a new way to have fun making something with friends.
