WhatsApp-Voice-CallingFew days back Indian Android users were got voice calling update of  WhatsAppp on their latest Android and  latest WhastsApp version. Now according NDTV gadgets reports, iOS users with latest version of WhatsApp  now reporting  presence of  call buttons within the chat window, and this calling button is placed just next to the contact’s name and profile picture on the top.

Now 2.11.15 latest version of  WhatsApp is available to download on iTunes. During this new version update, in description WhastApp not added about voice calling button. It just mentions about support for dynamic type (variable font size) and quick camera button in chats to choose a recent camera roll photo.

According to NDTV report WhatsApp has two calling buttons: One button, near the contact name within a chat conversation, features the phone symbol, while the other is present on the left side below the top pane, and reads ‘Call’. The new buttons are definitely a new addition to the interface, and seem to be independent of the regular call feature via the dialler, which is still accessible when the user opens a contact’s info page and navigates to the phone number.

It’s mysterious still WhatsApp has not officially announced  the voice calling feature and still they are testing it. In 2014, WhatsApp had announced that it soon plans to roll out voice calling feature for its users. In December, a few screenshots of the feature had leaked. 
According to WhatsApp CEO Jan Koum, the delay in rolling out voice calling feature was due to some technical issues that developers were facing. He had said that speaking at an industry conference in October 2014.Hope WhatsApp will officially roll out voice calling feature soon.
