Twitter has rolled out new a new feature: ‘While You Were Away’ which announced back in November 2014.Twitter user can now view the most important missed tweets while they were offline and come again online. This feature will take more relevant means best tweets from user and keep them on top of their feed when user login into apps. This feature sounds like Facebook news feed feature. Similar to Facebook this feature will collects and arrange all tweets in a non-chronological way and works according to twitter algorithms which decide which tweet is important.

Still this feature is not for all twitter user but tweets buzz on twitter showing that number of people talking about it.

Due to ‘While You Were Away’ feature twitter users will get important news, popular topics on their timeline when they log into app again. “Every time you open the Twitter app, you’ll see something great,” Twitter said when it announced .
It seem like that this feature update to keep user engage with their news feed, and it suggest that twitter is trying its best to rival with Facebook.
