Google India already started social campaign,Helping Women Get Online. Which aims to empower Indian women by learning and taking to the internet.Now Google has launched a new social campaign called #ReachForTheSky (Chulein Aasmman) in the association with MARD (Men Against Rape and Discrimination) initiative. MARD is started by Farhan Akhtar (Singer,Writer,Actor and Director) to do inspire change in in society.Last week at Delhi Google launched #ReachForTheSky joint campaign of Google www.hwgo.com and therealmard.org. The campaign #ReachForTheSky has been launched with musical performance “Chulein Aasmman” Farhan Akhtar performed live on this song with Salim-Sulaiman.I am damn sure this song will give you goose bumps.
Google is helping women get online while MARD stands to gather support for women empowerment.Jointly promoted campaign will lot helpful to get women online as well as encourage existing user to get more women online.In India only 14% women are able to use internet so this campaign spread lot of awareness of gender equality as well as women empowerment in India.
