If you want to improve your chat experience then you have to know,some WhatsApp tips and tricks.So today here i am writing about WhatsApp tips and tricks which will help you lot to use whatsApp easily.WhatsApp Tips and Tricks

 1: Create Conversation Shortcuts

You can create  conversation shortcuts on your device screen.If you doing daily chatting with specific numbers,and fed up with tapping on the screen twice in order to open the conversation. The only solution is to add a conversation shortcut to the home screen. You can do it very easily by  long-pressing the conversation until you see the “Add chat shortcut” option. Click on it and you will see a new icon on the phone’s home screen.

2.Know If Your Message Has Been Read

WhatsApp new updated versions has feature,which will let you know when your message has been read.When you see one tick, then your message has been sent, two ticks is the confirmation that the message has been delivered, and the two blue ticks will appear if the recipient will open the message.

3.Read A Message Without Letting The Sender Know You’ve Opened It

If you want to read WhatsApp message,without letting know to sender then you can read messages in airplane/flight mode and they will appear as unread.This is only way to read messages without instead of disabling the Read Receipt feature (Without disabling blue ticks).So, next time when you receive a new message, turn on Airplane/Flight mode (Swipe down from the top of the screen in Android,or swipe up from the bottom of the screen in iOS to reach the Settings menu.) and read the message while your phone is not emitting any type of signal. Then, close WhatsApp and turn off the Airplane mode. Your friend will never know you’ve checked his/her message.

4.Mute Groups

If you are part of too many groups,you will receive continuously notifications from those who send message in group.It can be quite annoying to check all of them and it’s more annoying to be bothered all the time with notifications. The best solution is to mute the group by tapping the settings icon from the top right of the screen. You will no longer see notifications popping out when a member of that group will send a message.

5.Starred Messages

Recently WhatsApp added star message feature into WhatsApp. Star message will help you to read important messages later.When you don’t have enough time to read an important message, star it and check it later. You will long-press on it and at the top of the screen will appear a star icon on which you’ll tap. You will find all starred messages in a list that will appear when you’ll tap the menu icon from WhatsApp’s home screen.

6.Backup and Restore WhatsApp Chats

WhatsApp do automatic backups of your chats, but you can also make a manual backup.On Android, just go into Settings > Chat settings and tap Backup conversations to create a backup. On iOS, it’s Settings > Chat Settings > Chat Backup, then tap Back Up Now. There’s no other way to restore chats directly from WhatsApp, so if you want to restore a backup you’re going to have to uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp. When you start WhatsApp after the reinstall, you should be prompted to restore your most recent backup. Just follow the procedure and your chats should all be back.

7.Hide Last Seen Time-stamp and profile photo and status

WhatsApp shows a “last seen” time-stamp,and it tells other users the last time when you were on WhatsApp. Some of you may want to disable this time-stamp, for privacy reasons. You can disable this last seen on both  Android and iOS. If you are an Android user,all you need to do is go into Settings>Account>Privacy  and set last seen to Nobody. If you’re an iOS user, you need to do is go into Settings > Chat Settings > Advanced and set Last Seen Timestamp to Off. You can hide your WhatsApp profile photo and status from other people. Go to to settings  and in account setting section then set profile picture and status  visibility to ‘Everyone’, ‘My contacts’ or ‘Nobody’, depending on how much privacy you want.

8.Stop WhatsApp Images from Appearing In Gallery Or Camera Roll

It’s very annoying having WhatsApp images in your Gallery or Camera Roll.Sometimes images are private and you don’t like it save in your camera roll automatically. You can fix this on both Android and iOS. For Android,download a file explorer, such as ES File Explorer,navigate to sdcard/WhatsApp/Media,enter the folder you don’t want shared (WhatsApp Images),tap the plus button at the bottom of the screen and finally name the new folder .nomedia. On iOS, it’s quite simple; just go to Settings > Privacy > Photos and then turn the WhatsApp switch off.

9. Lock WhatsApp

If you want to keep your WhatsApp private, you can use any kind of security apps to set a password  for the WhatsAppapp. AppLock is a very popular app for set password to your apps such like WhatsApp.

10. Use WhatsApp on Desktop
